I-71 SB Rest Stop - North of Medina (Bwick?) - Letter Sent

Post by jgarvas »

A letter was sent to ODOT District 3 seeking a comprehensive review of every rest stop, shelter, rest facility, parking facility, etc. including the rest stop on I-71 SB just North of Medina.

A similiar letter is being drafted for every ODOT District in an effort to get every single ODOT controlled building into compliance.

Contrary to a popular belief when I brag about OFCC accomplishments I'm not looking for your thank you or personal recognition. I'd much prefer you send me an email telling me when you are going to get involved in doing what I've been doing since 1999. We are only as effective as we make ourselves. We need the next generation of OFCC to step to the plate.

Is that you?

Jeff,

I think if we want the signs down, we need to contact the right person at ODOT to get it done. That person is the Chief Legal Counsel. The link to their website is:

http://www.dot.state.oh.us/Divisions/Ch ... fault.aspx" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Their phone number is: 614-466-3664, Fax: 614-387-7431

The person in charge is Cathy Cola Perkins. No one at ODOT makes a move in regards to and legal issues without consulting her office.
I would rather have a gun and not need it, than to need a gun and not have it.

I'll copy her on the letters we've already sent. Thanks for the heads up. It was recommended that we go directly to each DCC, but this makes sense to copy her and hope for a trickle down effect.
