Does anyone know of a good LOCAL source for hard cast lead bullets in the general NE Ohio area?

I'm specifically looking for 148gr. lead wadcutter (DEWC or BBWC) 158gr. LSWC .357s and 200gr. LSWC .452s.

Thanks.

I use Mastercast in Enon Valley PA. Not quite NE OH, but close :D....

(About a mile into PA from the OH line on PA 51 towards PIT. PA 51 is OH 14 in OH.)

Nice people, and some cute dogs :) . http://www.mastercast.net/ftp.mastercas ... lcome.html

Mike will ship, but lead is HEAVY.... (UPS has a "if it'll fit in the box" deal. I don't know about this kind of stuff, though. I just drive over there - less than 45 minutes, but I'm pretty close to the OH/PA line. Improper handling on our club's outdoor range can drop a round into PA.... Well, almost....)

Regards,

Slugmasters in levitsburg has a nice supply of cast bullets. I believe Nancy's (the owner) husband casts them. I would call first because I believe she had surgery & was closed for awhile.

But I have used his cast bullets before for 357, 44 & 45. And they have a nice selection.

Final, last bumper.

Super quality bullets. I cast, but it's hard to beat Bob's prices and quality.

160 gr for accurate, light recoil at 50'. Good load to research is 4.0 - 4.2 grains Bullseye.

Have a new-to-me 625 (thank you, David) and now am shooting Bob's 160gr bullet in a revolver. Pleasant, superbly accurate round.
