Who loads 300 Blackout for bolt guns

Post by Loading »

Picked up a Rem 700 300 blackout 16" the other day
Ordered dies and a trim die.
Found H110
Thinking about trying the xtreme plated 150gr flat tips, can't beat the price.
Anyone load plated in the blk yet?

Also thinking about cast 200+ grain

I load 300 BLK for my AR, I like 155 gr. cast with GC over 16.7 gr H110 and SR primer C.O.L 2.025

They make a nice cheap practice load at around 1850 FPS.
I'm sure they would work well in a bolt action.

Sadly I missed out on 8# of WC820/H110 for $120 because I was being nice and waiting on a buddy to buy one and split hazmat.
Won't do that again.
Where you getting bullets Bob?
I was thinking about the 150gr xtreme plated.
And whatever power I can find local H110, Win 296, or IMR 4227

The mold I bought was for 7.62x39 they cast at .312 http://www.titanreloading.com/molds/bul ... 12-155-2r-

I size them to.309 when I install the gas check. My barrel slugged at .3075 or so I can't remember.

I have also used jacketed 125 gr. sierra spire point with 17 gr H110

There is a lot of load data on the forum using different powders http://www.300blktalk.com/forum/index.php
