Almost hate to share this
If you're looking for handgun caliber bullets, I've noticed what looks like a trend the past few weeks. Montana Gold (http://montanagoldbullet.com/index.php/ ... t=all&q=gr" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;) may be getting caught up on their orders. I've been checking several sources every day and it seems that every Sunday around 3-5 they mark a variety as being available. Not always all calibers, but usually a selection. Today it was mainly 10mm/.40 and some .45. Usually seeing .44 and .357Sig most weeks as well. Can also vary if they're FMJ, CMJ or JHP but usually something. They're a little pricier, but I figure it's better spend a little more than have nothing. Hoping this marks a trend with other suppliers as well and maybe in the next few months things will get back to normal.

Not the best prices, by any means, but if you need some bullets...
Honestly, I was taken back by some of the prices.

Montana Gold has always been a little pricier, but their prices have gone up $30-50/case since last year. You really need to get the case size lot to get a decent price, not the box of 1,000. A case is pretty much all they can fit in the flat rate ship box and keep it under 70lbs. Also, it will all be in one giant box inside that. No individual boxes of 500 that I was used to seeing from other places. At the case price, it's pretty much what I've been seeing at gun shows or a little better.

I did only compare 1,000 box quantities, so you may be right. Usually that's what I order.

Major difference between the two prices. Even though they didn't list 9mm in this go around, here''s the breakdown on 115gr 9mm FMJ.GlockMan27 wrote:I did only compare 1,000 box quantities, so you may be right. Usually that's what I order.
1,000 Box - $140, $14/100 or 0.14ea
4,000 Case - $380, $9.50/100 or 0.095 ea
I'd agree that the price for the box is not a good deal. Can't remember seeing 100 115gr 9mms for that low a price anytime recently though. Since I figure you can never have too many, I've always ordered by the case. Thankfully I've saved boxes from Zero & others over the years. One box with 4,000 bullets is a little unwieldy for me to handle so I break them up into the boxes from others that I've saved and label what they are and how many.

Still to rich for my blood, I'm used to paying .05 per slug for 9mm cast boolits and .055 for .45's.

Precision Delta let's you place backorders, but they're 18 weeks behind according to their site.
Their prices have gone up about $10 per thousand for 124gr JHP in the last year, but $98/1k still isn't bad.
I've been ordering before I'm close to running out, but my 9mm bullets are starting to dwindle, hopefully my order ships soon.

I placed an order with them back in Feb. Received my order about 3 weeks ago. I love their bullets.dangerranger6100 wrote:Precision Delta let's you place backorders, but they're 18 weeks behind according to their site.

I love Precision Delta. I just got 9,000 of my 12,000 bullet order this week. Placed April 8th.

If anyone finds any rifle bullets .308 FMJ's please tell me. Good to hear that handgun bullets are making a comeback, but I can't find bulk bullets for my M-1 anywhere. Every site says "Out of Stock - No backorders"

His Garand wants 147-150gr. The standard M2 ball was 147gr.JediSkipdogg wrote:What grain?
