What great deals ARE you finding up there north of Akron in the 'Sweet Land of Liberty'? Powder? Bullets?"

I did ok yesterday! Found almost 100 (93) pcs of 9mm cci AL cases in the trash barrel at the range, and it is boxer! Also, mined about a pound and a half of lead from the berm.

I'm in pretty good shape up here.
Must be nice having those kinds of connections/resources. Kind of like having your own oil pump and refinery in your own back yard.

Can you reload Aluminum cases safely?

Do what you want, but it is not recommended. The aluminum is more brittle than the brass.

As always.

Evan, I grew up in the Akron area. Ohio Edison's ( former Akron Traction and Light) headquarters was the first thing that greeted you when you came in to town from the north, across the old viaduct. They had a huge, bright incandescent Ready Kilowatt perched on top of the building. He greeted your arrival with a wave of his animated right arm. Pretty gee whizz stuff in the day.

Saw 30 k of small pistol Winchester primers on the shelf at 37.99/1000.
Propellants are still hit or miss.
Bullets have been slow to reappear.
