Success

Post by CMcLeish »

Fired my first 10 reloaded rounds today and all worked fine. :D 9mm with Dardas 124 gr lead round nose. Federal Magnum primers and 3.6 gr of Hodgdon TiteGroup powder. At 100 yards they seemed to perform identically to my Georgia Arms FMJ plinking ammo.

Next up, actual target shooting with various powder charge adjustments.

Excellent!

Awesome.

For curiosity sake, what are you shooting it through at 100 yards? Carbine? Pistol? Rifle?

Just the SR9c today. I didn't even set up targets. Just making sure they were in the ballpark and fed.

Well the 3.6 gr cycles good in the SR9C but *not* in the XDM 5.25". Too weak to cycle some rounds. The other thing I notice is this powder smokes and seems dirty. So bumping up the powder charge.

Why magnum primers?
