If this story were about me, , here is the short version of my defense in front of a jury:
There is no law against open carry in an OSU building.
A law (2923.1212) told OSU to post a sign with suggested text.
The suggested text is not backed by a state law.
The suggested text was invalidated by ORC 9.68.
Ohio Supreme Court has stated that open carry is a right.
If I was present after closing time, I would be trespassing.
If I started a food fight and was asked to leave, but didn't, I would be trespassing.
I was not trespassing SOLELY because I was open carrying.
Somebody OC'ed at OSU Union last night
