More thoughts...

Do the police NOT know about these incidents?

--Phil's encounter with the DPS agents.

--Dickson City PA restaurant incident.

These are all recent. Have they buried their head in the sand, or just don't care?

What are the LEO's opinion here at OFCC? --Vex? --ThugHunter?

EDITED::I have asked about this before, but along with the well known issues presented in the OFCC vs. Clyde case, OFCC's attorney mentioned he would also petition the court for a ruling on OC in Ohio. I remember this from PiP4. Any word?

I was thinking...

If that officer works for or puts on classes for CCW, we as a group should contact the enterprise and let them know that we as a group will not be patronizing them for CCW classes until this is corrected in their course. Money talks and that is one way to let the officer know that we won't put up with his {stuff}.

Along with contacting them personally by phone, I will be sending them my reciept for my class at renewal along with a CD copy of the mp3 and the reason I did NOT choose them as my CCW class.

Let's let them know also what this person has done.

Any thoughts?

By the way, I could not make out the name of the place he gave classes at. can anyone post the name?

I'm with you on the OC walk. I'm in Akron, and will be there if i have that day off work. Lets pick a day!

I frequently OC throughout the day without problems from the local police.

As to how I recorded it and why:
I had my iPhone on me and I have a sound recording program that records onto the phone that I use for school. I was intimidated when I saw the officer pull up so I pulled out the phone and hit record and set in on the ground. I didn't think they would behave the way they did, but I knew from opencarry.org that it's your word against their's unless it is on tape... so it was recorded. I'm all for an open carry walk!

Dude,
While listening to those tapes I discovered you are 24 years old. You are WAY more educated on rights and liberty than I was at 24.

I am most impressed with 2 things:

1. Socialist Cop: "I have got to hear a rationalization for this"
Citizen:"I don't know if I need one"

That level of knowledge brings tears to my eyes, and stregthens my belief that young people are realizing that they are free individuals.

2. Citizen: "People need to realize that we are citizens, and not subjects"

WOW!!! So cool, calm and collected. I am sure you are wishing you said other things, or rephrased at times. But I tell you; These two things make up for it all. Outstanding!

Can I catch a ride with you, STS47 ?

I'm more than willing to go on another open carry walk.

I'll have to use my walker, but then again, I could use the exercise.

Anyone else with me? I don't care about the cost of gas. This is more important. I'll make the drive.

Consider me there, heck I'll even take a day off work for it.

I will listen to the rest of it later. But the officer(s) lost any possible support from me with his first gratuitous use of "G** ****." It was unprofessional and uncalled for - I can understand cursing in "the heat of the moment" - not in casual conversation.

I there's enough interest for an OC walk, let's do it. What day is good for each of you? I'm pretty flexible. The only day I have something important scheduled is Saturday, June 28th.

You have got to be kidding me!

You had these half-wits wetting their pants - I will be writing letters today.

Do they know you were recording?

They will be ticked off when they find out! But perfectly legal as long as one person being recorded is aware of being recorded.

Wow, that tape is unbelievable. I started making a list of quotes that fired me up, but it grew way too long.

rDigital, did you get the names of the police officers?
