OC today w/ a serprise.

Open Carry is carrying a firearm unconcealed in Ohio. OC does not require a concealed handgun license, but the practice requires intimate knowledge of the law since there are places and situations where OC is prohibited but carrying concealed would be permitted. OC is also likely to attract attention. This forum is for discussion of OC, not for debating the pro's and con's or coordinating any type of protest events.

So no transport if someone's trunk can be accessed by folding down the back seat to enter the trunk?

What about those Ford/Dodge/whatever (not my) vehicle with a locking storage unit in the floor of the vehicle? Illegal there too?

In this problem area, locking the ammo or the gun in a different container should have you covered.

As far as access through the back seat, you would still not be able to reach it from the drivers seat without getting out of the seat. So it's not really in reach of where you are.

Again IANAL.
