The Newport Acquarium is in KY but I suspect many here have visited due to its proximity to Cincinnati.

Do visitors pass through a metal detector when entering?

KY’s laws are more lax than Ohio’s regarding concealed carry into GFZs, hence the reason for my question.

It's been a few years but there were no metal detectors. I wouldn't worry about it and just have a good time.
