Miami county trash transfer station
The Miami county trash transfer station has NO GUN sign on the front gate. The residential trash bins are now outside in the yard and not inside the large dump station building. Since you do not go inside a county building now, can you carry a firearm to dump your residential trash? Can anyone leave feedback on this?

Assuming it is County property, they cannot post anything except buildings that qualify as government facilities. The grounds / yard do not qualify since they aren't buildings, so the posting isn't legal. You should tell them the signs need to come down.

And further, advise them to put those signs in the proper recycling bin.JustaShooter wrote:Assuming it is County property, they cannot post anything except buildings that qualify as government facilities. Quit worrying, hide your gun well, shut up, and CARRY that handgun!

.....OR, if your up for a little more fun, you could , if there are cameras, openly carry there next time and make sure you walk.....or maybe dance a little jig...... right in front of those cameras while OCing and then have someone report you to them and see where that leads !Brian D. wrote:And further, advise them to put those signs in the proper recycling bin.JustaShooter wrote:Assuming it is County property, they cannot post anything except buildings that qualify as government facilities. BUT, like Justashooter said, make sure it's County property FIRST.
