T-Mobile stores

Postby sd790 » Tue Oct 25, 2016 4:34 am

T-Mobile will be losing my business as a mobile provider. They are now posting at all stores nationwide. The employees stated that there had been an incident in which an employee defended himself with a concealed gun against an armed robber. T-Mobile needed to ensure that never happens again, so stickers need to go up at every store.

The male employees agreed with my talking points. One even showed me his CHL to prove he agreed. The one female employee commented that she thought the incident was a problem because the robber didn't shoot first, so the armed employee shouldn't have used his gun yet. I'll never understand that mindset.

When Concealed Nation ran with the story on the machete incident at Nazareth Restaurant, they grabbed pics from local media that showed a No Guns sign. They went nuts with it....

Turns out, it was the T-Mobile store next door where police had taken people to interview them.

BTW, I have seen a couple of Sprint stores posted too. Not sure if that is just those particular stores though.

Just what does T-Mobile wish to prevent from happening again? The employee defending himself or the armed robbery? Oh wait...Never mind. I think I know the answer.

In other words T-Mobile would rather risk employees and customers being killed than risk a lawsuit if one actually had the nerve to defend themselves.

Exactly. Your life is worth less to them than a lawsuit is to them. Tells you everything you need to know about the company.

I've finally switched my family plan from CPZ-Mobile to AT&T. I am pleased to discover that the mobile phone coverage and data speeds are much better than those that I was accustomed to with CPZ-Mobile.

That is a pleasant surprise, as I expected them to be equivalent.

I have been on AT&T for years now, and have always been pleased with their speed. Coverage is pretty good in most areas. I do live in a tiny pocket where signal just doesn't quite reach all the time - but I have a home booster that runs through my internet service that compensates at home.

T-Mobile rides on AT&T's towers where there is not an T-Mobile tower within in range. Given that T-Mobile has fewer towers, and likely does not want to roam frequently on AT&T's towers - I could imagine that the signal could not be as good in the effort to avoid roaming.

AT&T's LTE speeds, when on a tower that is less used, are blistering fast. My in-laws in SW Virginia can see an AT&T tower across the valley from their house. My LTE screams in at 20+Mbps most of the time while I am there - which is a lot faster than their 5Mbps DSL.

I guess we will start seeing SUV buster signs going up at T Mobiles as well. I am sure if this store had been posted none of this would have happened.

Authorities said the woman was upset that she had to pay to have her cracked iPhone screen replaced when she claimed to have phone insurance.
