Verizon on Monroe st. Toledo not posted

Post by dlgeorge »

Ok, I did a forum search for "Verizon" and all the posts were very old so I'm starting this one.

The Monroe street Verizon store in Toledo was not posted when I went there yesterday. I open carried and was there about 20 minutes talking to a salesperson. No questions, no one went running and screaming out of the store! :) I don't know if this was an oversight on the store's part, or if Verizon has come around.

The main store? It's been posted for years. They must have just taken down the sign.

I'm too lazy to go back and search but we've discussed this before.... the signs have been down in the Cleveland market for at least a year.

No signs at the 3 in Findlay. OC'd in 2 of them no problem.

There is one in Strasburg, Ohio and their not posted....never remember them being posted. If Verizon has an anti carry policy.....id say most of their stores are not following that policy.

The Verizon store in the shopping center just east of Delaware was not posted the last time I was in there.

Interesting. I'll need to have a look at the Mayfield Rd. store next visit. I do recall their posting was red lettered on a clear sticker on a smoked glass at shoe level... As if they didn't want one to see it to begin with.

It will be as difficult to confirm it's GONE as it was to FIND in the first place...

I was at the at Mason store on Saturday and the sign was gone.

I'm not sure how effective that sign was, anyway. I always had a hard time seeing it since it was mounted so low.
