Do try to keep up Stu! The virulent anti-2A Attorney General who indeed monkeyed quite a bit with handgun licenses is no more. Seems she had some other problems with the concept of "the end justifies the means" and was convicted of perjury and grand jury secrecy violations. Now being a felon she was disbarred and sentenced to almost two years in prison. She's been out of prison pending various appeals. From what I can tell her latest appeal within the PA court system was turned down last month so her report date ticks closer...

The current AG is also a (D) but from what my PA friends tell me he's stayed relatively silent on 2A matters. Instead he has chosen to focus on the more pressing priorities of the office, given that pornographic emails among the staff and perjury/grand jury leaks were a large part of what tripped up his predecessor. Caution is advised though because apparently Bloomberg likes his positions on guns and donated to his campaign. Having said that, he doesn't appear to have gotten his money's worth (yet).

Usually this group gathers at restaurants without gun free zone restrictions. So, I abstain from alcohol, and carry.

Ditto. I would rather be the designated driver with my sidearm than a drunk fool without it.
