We are way past time for Sumburger. There are evil plots to be hatched after all. Check out my post on federal keep and bear statutes.

Have him get the CHL, it takes too long to get a UPIN, way easier to take the class and apply for the license.

Then go to a gun store that accepts it as proof of NICS.

Has your friend gotten back to you?

Is it time to meet up at Sumburger again??
Nothing to add to the thread. But Sumburger....MMMMMMM!

The CHL does not always work. It is at the discretion of the dealer. I was in Fin Feather and Fur the other day and they told me that they do not allow a CHL to be utilized on the purchase.

The Fin still uses a paper 4473 and insists that NO postal abbreviations are allowed despite what it says on the form. I could see that the Fin doesn't even know that CHL can be used.
