I originally got my CCW in Fall 2008, then renewed five years later. No issues. Now, however, my second renewal is taking a while. I submitted my application December 8, and I am still waiting. (BTW, for some reason Nicks always gives me a hold when I buy a gun, but I never have had a denial.) I've called the Deputy in charge twice now, and he says the hold up is in Columbus, who will mail the paperwork to him when they get to it. He says Columbus has been slow with some other applications he sent in before the holidays. He says he will call me to come in to get my photo taken and pick it up. Well, it is January 17 now... This is in Belmont County.
Advice?

Welcome to the forums!
45 days after submitting your application, tell the deputy it's been 45 days and by law, they must give you your license and they wouldn't want to break the law, would they? If something's wrong with the license, they know where to find you and get the license back.
Good luck.

Thanks for your advice, Javelin Man.
Is that "45 days" business days or calendar days? At any rate, it is coming up.
(Just noticed typo in my original post. The original license was in 2007.)
