Help with some laws

Post by Emeade »

When gun is on your person does it have to be in a holster? How about in a vehicle. Sorry I'm sure it's been asked a million times.

No, Ohio law doesn't specify how you must carry on your person but a good holster made for your specific model of handgun that completely covers the trigger is a *very* good idea.

No, there are not currently any restrictions in Ohio on how you can carry in your vehicle either - though again, you really should...

Both answers presume that you have a CHL.
