For what reason do I notify other then being stopped in your car ? While carrying with a CHL.

If someone calls LE and they come to you're home and you are CC and have a CHL, do you need to inform when the officer gets there ?

If you are on foot and are stopped for a law-enforcement purpose, you must notify. If you are a passenger in someone else's car and they are stopped, you must notify.

Inside your home you are not required to as I understand it, but if you step outside to talk to them you would need to.

Just to clarify.....if you call LE because someone won't leave your home and LE shows up and you are armed and a CHLH, you need not notify ?

I read this as he still had his firearm after he was arrested, cuffed, and placed in the squad car. Is that right accurate?

Even if it's not legally required to do so, notifying (without using the word "gun" or "weapon") when the cops start to cuff you seems like a good idea.

The way I read it, and I read it 3 times..he was arrested cuffed and on the way to the squad he notified...how long it took place from your arrested till he notified I'm not certain.

I think it's pretty safe to say that at that point you've been "stopped for a law enforcement purpose" so yeah, you need to notify...
