In case you don't know this. If you have a smart phone you can get an app called Legal Heat that gives most of the info you need to carry in all states. A few states do not recognize any license from another state and you can usually get the details on how to transport in those states. They keep it updated all the time s state change reciprocity, etc.

There are a number of apps that do this, both for iOS and Android. They're discussed from time-to-time on this forum. I've used many of them and they all seem to suffer from the same problem; specifically, they tend not to update as quickly as other (more reliable) resources. Some of them seem to lag so far behind as to be entirely unhelpful.

Nevertheless, these apps are but one source of information and should never be exclusively relied upon.
