Somehow, I knew this would be the subject, and it is right on the money.

There are all kinds of paradoxes you can apply to the disparities that exist in our culture. This is a good one.

The big contradiction

Post by CMiddleton »

It is funny how liberal parents want to ban guns because they "take lives and kill children".

Wonder how many children drowned in swimming pools this year? Wonder if any liberals own those watery death traps that have massacred our youth.

Maybe we should not let people have pools anymore, only certified lifeguards and professionals who deal with water, ie. firemen, divers, sailors, captains. Then this nonsense of using water to cool off in the summer time could be stopped and our children could live without a pool waiting to take the air out of there lungs.
It can be difficult to remember that your mission was to drain the swamp, when you are up to your butt in alligators.

I'm all in favor of "reasonable" pool control. Let the rich libs establish a "need" to have a pool.

Of course, the small, backyard pools should be banned out of hand -- they are not fit for any sporting purposes. Only Olympic-sized pools should be allowed.

How about the fact that you can not carry a firearm to see the constitution.

Can't carry a firearm to see the Constitution

Post by SFC Stu »

I was very near our US Capitol last week. I couldn't go into DC because I carry a firearm 24/7! I may never get to see the Capitol of my country, that I spent 30 years of my life defending! I refuse to disarm for a bunch of people that don't deserve my protection! SFC Stu
