That's where they are all processed (unless something has changed). Coutesey of the "Honoarable" Robert Carlyle Byrd .

You mean the Robert C. who was the leader and recruiter for his local chapter of the KKK Byrd?
Didn't hear that - but I know you can't drive 20 miles without seeing a Robert C government paid something.
Totally useless, waste of space, irrelevant, sig.

I get a hold every time I purchase a Firearm,This has been going on for around ten years,From what I have been told is that a Person with the same last Name as Me is a Felon so I get flagged for three days until I can pick up the Firearm. (And I'm pretty sure I know the Person They keep getting Me mixed up with).

I never get delayed now. Pick gun to buy, fill in Form 4473, show my Texas CHL, pay and walk out. No NICS check required. 8)

Especially useful at gun shows.

I get delayed almost every time.

Odd how I can get delayed 5 times in a row then the next time it goes right through.

I was approved yesterday and picked it up today.
...Now I have this awful problem if I should test fire it, or let my mom be the first to shoot it (after all, it is a Christmas gift for her and it IS pink). I would not be surprised if she never shoots it until she is confronted with a BG.

She and her best friend are asking me about CHL training, where I took mine, etc. Her friend has a similar problem in that she says she can not rack a slide...but I am not going to play Santa a second time. She can get her own.

I wish I knew what was up with the delay. First time out of seven purchases.

THANK YOU EVERYONE who shared your thoughts on this topic! :D

Out of 13 or14 purchases over the 30 months I have been shooting, I have been delayed every time. I have timed out for the three days a couple of times, the majority of times I am approved the next day, sometimes two. I have never been refused, and have PA and OH licenses. I have considered getting a UPIN, but haven't bothered, as I'm never in much of a rush.
Proudly causing more problems than I solve, since 1950.

Fun part is when somebody with a UPIN gets delayed.... yeah it happens.

Its really very common, half the people in this company get delayed when buying a gun.
