WARNING WARNING. I had such a good time last year when it was held on Sunday that I might take a Saturday off to attend this year..

Make sure you get in the food line before Chuck, Jeff and Steve do....there is no food left after them.

Kidding of course..There is plenty of food for seconds..

I was REAL happy with the T bone I had on the rare side.
I did think the four tier cake was a little to fancy for an event like we had though.......... :)
This year I am going to make sure I get all the names of the speakers and write them down... Were some really good speakers but I don't remember all their names!

I was okay with the NY Strip steaks we had in 2015. Too bad I missed the T-bones last year.

Is it too late to request a better quality cracker for the caviar this year?

(Party in the park)
A yearly get together of members here, meeting and getting to know each other, hearing speakers, candidates, current officials and eating.
Last year had a LOT of door prizes!
Wifie and I both had our names drawn. I think almost everyone won something from a pistol to a hat :D
Our first time last year and really looking forward to this year's!

That's an understatement! *7* firearms were given away, plus a *yuge* table of other door prizes. Almost everyone got a door prize of some kind, and many of them, if not most, were worth at least as much as the meal ticket cost.

Yes it's a big "party" w/ plenty of eats and door prizes, but I look at it as a means to get those who come and are new to OFCC, interested in our organization, interested in being active in our causes, or interested in volunteering, by seeing others doing so and how serious those that are active, take it, and hopefully those new to OFCC, realize how important it is to get involved.

Putting all the effort into getting our laws changed throughout the year is a tiring and never ending chore.....(yes, job is a much better word for it), and then you find out that much of your efforts were in vein, especially when you see the resulting law changes.

Yes, we saw some "good" changes this last session, but it's frustrating because we didn't get what most of us "really" wanted.

Anyway, our "Party in the Park" is a way to mix some fun and entertainment, (and education), into the effort we put forth.

Hope you can make it, too!
