Full Auto Shoot!!! Sun Sept 27 2015!

Post by Stryker74 »

'Showdown in September'

Earlier this year, the ATF tried to ban 62-grain .223/5.56 rounds....

The current President has tried to ban our guns in backdoor attempts for many years....

The anti-gun 'Moms Demand Action' have taken to attacking our retailers and 2A friendly businesses....

It is time for a showdown.... a showdown to celebrate our freedoms as red, white, and blue Americans! Join the Ohioans for Concealed Carry team for a full auto shoot to proclaim our love for our rights as Americans!

When: Sunday, September 27th, 2015 - gates open at 9am

Who: Ohioans for Concealed Carry PAC has partnered with our friends at GunEnvy to provide this great opportunity. More guests are expected to be announced at a later time!

That is a nice cross section of Class III guns on the "menu". A suggestion for another, if I may: The American Arms 180 in .22 long rifle. Provided of course than the Gun Envy crew and friends have one and can pull together enough .22 ammo to feed it all day.

Over 30+ years of shooting various matches I've been fortunate enough to try out several full auto firearms, maybe three dozen of various models across a spectrum of sizes, calibers, and even one 12 gauge shotgun with a "fun switch". Hard to rank them in terms of enjoyment but that darn AA 180 was a hoot and the pair I saw ran all week long at the event without issue given a just a little wipe off periodically and end-of-day cleaning. Another plus is that they are so easy to hang onto and shoot a good group with.
Quit worrying, hide your gun well, shut up, and CARRY that handgun!

The supply of ammo may be the kicker right there. Not sure if i can have one together in time, but it is on our list of things we have wanted for some time.

Are you guys looking for volunteer help? I ran the SAW station at the Veterans Day Shoot and would be willing to help again.

No, there are two tickets required for the event. The first ticket is the shooting ticket. Anyone desiring to fire a weapon must purchase this. This is sort of a "let's have fun today" type ticket. Spectating is free. This ticket (and it's really a wristband that must be worn all day) will change pricing from $20 to $25 to $30 over the time frame of around 5 weeks.

The second ticket is the individual magazine tickets. Those are $15 each. The 50 BMG requires one ticket to fire one shot. You can do the math.

Oops, skipped over that too quickly ...... the ".50 BMG" is a bolt gun, not an M2.

My guess is the .50 BMG is the 2nd video down on this link....

Not sure if one needs to be a Facebook member to see that or not. If you do, sorry. If not, there are some of the other guns that we will have as well.

I have to inspect the range but if there is enough call for it I can arrange an M-2, I am working on making other guns available for the event such as a select fire HK91.

Some are pending a final setup inspection.
