Help OFCC at Columbus Gun Show Jan31-Feb1

Post by Stryker74 »

After a break for the holidays, OFCC will be hosting a table at the Westland Mall gun show - the next one is on the weekend of January 31 and February 1st.

The address is 4273 Westland Mall Columbus, OH 43228, and the times are from 9:00am to 5:00pm, Saturday, and 9:00 to 4:00pm Sunday.

Any and all activists who want to partake in the fun are invited to join us. This is a great opportunity to meet & talk to like minded people, meet some of your fellow OFCC members, and help out an organization that has done a lot to improve our gun rights in Ohio.

We are at a clean slate with the new legislature - come out and hear the feedback on the new law, and what people want to see in this legislative session.

Come out and see some unique items - this show usually has holster makers onsite, the folks from Cadiz Gun Works (makers of the oil-filter suppressor adapters!), and our good friends GunEnvy are usually there as well. (It is worth seeing Doc Padds man the table on Sundays as he has been doing lately!)

Also - admission to the show is free with the exhibitor badges that we get from the show management. That means that if you volunteer for a morning - you can get in before the crowd and check out the vendor tables before the doors open at 9am!

If you would like to volunteer, post in this thread, or send me a pm to let us know you can help. We will take any time you can give us!

See you there!!

The show is this coming weekend!

This show is often a very busy show - though I don't know why for sure. Last year, the snow was coming down pretty good - and the people were coming in heavy!

Come on out and join us - help support an organization that supports your gun rights in Ohio!

Unless I'm still working on replacing my well pump and water line into the trailer, I'll be there on Saturday.

I've a family event on Sunday.

Looks like you have Saturday well covered. If work didn't intrude I'd make the trip to pitch in on Sunday.

C'mon, gang there's got to be somebody on here willing to take on this task. And certainly who lives closer than 100 miles away like I do. Sure it's several hours of a Sunday but you were going to waste the evening watching arrogant millionaires play a ballgame, weren't you? This is a little more important.
Quit worrying, hide your gun well, shut up, and CARRY that handgun!

There's plenty of time to watch the millionaires after the gun show!

Chuck, some folks (men, almost exclusively) use "The Big Game" as an all-day excuse to do nothing.

Anyhow if it turns out I'd be needed on Saturday let me know. Appears the table is chuck-full of A-Team staffers at this time.

Ahh, but "I need to volunteer for OFCC, they need me!" coupled with the "big game" guarantees not having to do anything - well, other than hang out at the gun show, that is.

I'm not going to make it up today.

I didn't get near enough done with my well pump and plumbing project.

I really miss having running water.
