Oooops ....a little late I guess. thought they had one later in the year? Will have to keep this one in mind for next year.

Who would you contact about getting a table? Suppose I could google it but if anyone knows....... I could handle it for next year unless somebodys already in charge of that.

Looks like the Show Promoter is Ohio Shows

Contact: John Salvador
Phone: (330) 539-4247
Email: info@ohiogunshows.com
Website: http://www.ohiogunshows.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Here's some more info, confirming they have no shows scheduled at the moment (but if they follow their usual pattern, there will be one at the end of November).

Yes I saw that and plan on contacting them soon to see if there is another show later this year.

I thought they normally had two a year.

If you find there is another show, let either Dave, Aaron, or me know, and we can contact them to reserve the table.

How many Summit shows are there this year? I was going to try and commit to the Medina shows on sundays but would be willing to be a "leader" at the Summit show instead....about the same drive time for me.......Justashooter and I were discussing this and I may have a helper in the future for the Summit show too! He's not a member of OFCC or the forums....."yet" ...... but he's getting interested in being more active in the gun rights issues....everyone starts somewhere, ya know! :)

Buckeye Event Center will be closing. It is going to be used by P. Graham Dunn, which is a real bummer. Someone at the last show suggested that the gun show may move to the Wayne County fairgrounds, but I have not heard that from official sources.

Actually, it looks like it has moved to the Stark County Fair Grounds, and the promoter is still Dick Walton, of Ohio Gun Knife & Military Shows. Next show is April 2/3.

In case any one is interested in helping out, the Medina show dates for this year are as follows:
I needed to know the dates because I help on the sundays but thought others might like to know.
2016
Apr. - 16,17
June - 11,12
Sept. - 10,11
Oct. - 8,9
Nov. - 12,13
Dec. - 10,11

2017
Jan. - 14,15
Feb. - 11,12
Mar. - 11,12

The Summit shows, (Summit Fairgrounds) are as follows:
2016
(March is not doable)
Sept - 24,25
Oct. - 29,30
Dec. - 3,4

Posting this well in advance may help out a few who would like to help/volunteer. Volunteers for the Summit shows are what we really need.

Looks like the "Ohio Gun, Knife & Military" show formerly held in Dalton, Oh. is going to have another show on Nov., 26th/27th at the Stark county fair grounds.

Any volunteers?....you have a lot of time to think about it and yes, I know it's a holiday weekend, but I think I can swing either sat., or sun. if someone can cover the other day. At this point, I will be helping with the Medina show earlier that month and my wife will only let me have so much fun, so........ :)

Didn't want to start a new thread but had a related heads-up: Since Hara Arena closed, the Goodman gun shows in Dayton have moved around. First one was downtown at the Montgomery County fairgrounds arena. That seemed to flop. This weekend the show was moved to the Clark County fairgrounds (Springfield, just off I-70.) Seemed to be a last minute change of location.

Anyhow, these places are smaller than Hara and dealers don't seem to be too interested in getting tables. I am possibly dead wrong but perhaps Goodman could be persuaded to GIVE us a table now.

I may stop at Springfield tomorrow since it's not far past where my group shoots on Sundays. Will try to get a feel for whether it's even worth OFCC'S effort to see about setting up there.

While I'm spitballing ideas on this thread, consider another thing: If HRC wins next month, gun shows may get very crowded again. Show promoters may suddenly balk at giving tables to groups like ours when there's a long waiting list of dealers willing to pay top dollar for them.
