Multigun at PCSI
There is a Multigun match at PCSI this Sunday August 5th. See match announcement below.
The Pickaway County Sportsman’s Range near Circleville, Ohio is a hosting a 5 stage Multi-Gun match on August 5th. As usual, we will start staging additional range equipment at 2pm on Saturday, August 4th. This match falls on the same weekend as our monthly USPSA Handgun Competitions. Saturday is the Handgun match and Sunday is the Multi-Gun match. Those who can help with setup Saturday afternoon or come at 8a Sunday morning will get a $10 discount on match fees. Those who come Saturday and Sunday for setup your match fee will be waived. These are BIG setups that are target rich and have plenty of props, so as usual, we’re counting on volunteers to make this happen.
Round count has been averaging about 60-75 rounds per gun with a few shotgun slugs thrown in here and there to spice things up a bit. We suggest you bring 100+ rounds for each gun with a few boxes of slugs just to be safe. Please remember that we do not allow bi-metal jacketed rifle bullets to be shot at our rifle steel. This means if a magnet will stick to your bullet it has steel in it and these bullets traveling at 3000+ fps will damage our plates. RO's will be checking everyone's rounds with a magnet.
Please note that we are going to require pre-registration in order to monitor the number of shooters attending these matches. We believe that we have met our ability to host any more shooters. At the discretion of the Match Director more shooters can be added. Registration is scheduled to open 7/26/12 at 7:00pm. The Preregistration Rules can be found http://www.ohioshootingsports.com/2012- ... tigun.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; and at http://www.pcsirange.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;.

Looking forward to it. No way I'll make it Saturday, but I'll be there bright and early Sunday morning along with another shooter for set up.

Re: Multigun at PCSI
We have 60 registered now. However, we seem to have 3 or 4 no shows each match and 1or 2 will pull their registrations in the days before the match. So, if anyone is still thinking about coming to the match, then they should get on the wait list.
Even if you are not registered you can assure a spot in the match by assisting with the match set up on Saturday, April 6th.

Re: Multigun at PCSI
The Pickaway County Sportsman’s Range near Circleville, Ohio is a hosting a 6 stage Multigun match on April 12th. The April match has been moved to the second Sunday of April due to Easter falling on the first Sunday. This match falls on the same weekend as our monthly IDPA competition. Saturday is the IDPA match and Sunday is the Multigun match. We will start staging additional range equipment at approximately 2pm on Saturday, April 11th. Competitors who can help with setup Saturday afternoon will receive a match fee discount of $15. Competitors who can help with Sunday morning setup at 8am will get a $10 discount on match fees. Those who come Saturday and Sunday for setup will have their match fee waived. These are BIG setups that are target rich and have plenty of props, so as usual, we’re counting on volunteers to make this happen.
We will also provide a match fee discount of $15 for two members of each squad who volunteer to be ROs. The two volunteers will be determined during a special registration period. Please do not register during this period unless you have been separately contacted to participate as an RO. Please let me know if you are interested in being an RO.
Rules Changes not in the Multigun Webpage:
6.5.5 Muzzle devices (compensators, muzzle brakes, compensating muzzle brakes, or any other device not listed) are allowed in this division provided the muzzle device is not larger than 1 inch in diameter, measured perpendicular to the barrel, and 3 inches long, measured from the barrel muzzle to the end of the muzzle device. Exception: suppressors.
9.1.12 All courses of fire will have a 100 second par time (time limit) unless otherwise stated in the stage briefing. If a competitor does not finish the stage within the par time, a raw time of 100 seconds will be recorded, and the targets will be scored as per Rule 9.1.
Please remember that we do not allow bi-metal jacketed or steel core rifle bullets to be shot at our rifle steel. This means if a magnet will stick to your bullet it has steel in it and these bullets will damage our plates. RO's will be checking everyone's rounds with a magnet.
Round count will be less than 100 rounds per gun with no more than 10 shotgun slugs. We suggest you bring twice as much as you expect you will need. You can always take some home.
Please note that we are going to use pre-registration in order to limit the number of shooters to 66. We believe that we have reached our limit to host any more shooters. At the discretion of the Match Director more shooters can be added if they assist with Saturday afternoon setup.
Registration is scheduled to open for ROs on Saturday, 4/4/15 at 6:00pm.
Registration is scheduled to open for Shooters on Sunday, 4/5/15 at 8:00pm.
