OFCC Holiday Meet & Greet - Columbus 2-6 PM

Post by Daniel »

This is the planning thread for the Columbus area OFCC Holiday Meet & Greet, led by Sabalo and MrMagoo.

These planning threads are to coordinate attendees, choose a location, and whatever else is needed.

These informal get togethers are being held in restaurants in Cleveland, Toledo, Youngstown, Columbus, and Dayton on Saturday, December 13th at 6:00pm. Join your fellow OFCC members in a little holiday fun, including an optional gift exchange (limit $10), and door prizes!

OK, the floor is open to ideas for a restaurant to hold this shindig.

I've already called several places. Cracker Barrel is out as they won't seat us together as a group, we'd have to wait until other patrons leave. Bob Evans won't seat us together, we'd have to wait for adjoining seats to clear, like Cracker Barrel.

A side room would be nice as we have door prizes and announcements.

I have a place lined up if we can't find something rather quickly. December 13th is only three weeks away, so we have to move quickly.

If you have a suggestion for a place, please contact them before you post them as an option.

Let's show the other M&Gs how it's done !

Has anyone considered Donatos Pizza locations? I know most of them have party rooms available for customers. Don't know how many they hold or how many members are expected to attend but it may be worth looking into

I have good news on the door prize giveaway!

Included among the other great prizes will be a certificate to attend a Project Appleseed shoot anywhere in Ohio!

I believe many Panera Bread restaurants have a separate party room. Just another option since they have many locations. I'll most likely show up as soon as I know where I am showing up at.

Add three, maybe 4 more attendees. Still no ideers for a meeting place.
