"Freezin' der Heinie Off"

Post by ArcherAce »

Surplusrifle will be having their annual "Freezin' der Heinie Off" shoot on Saturday January 26. The shoot is held at a range located in Delphos Ohio I've never made the FDHO shoot, but the shoot they hold in May is alot of fun.

Obviously it caters to military surplus, but all shooters are welcome.

Must... resist... urge... to... pun.

I do have one question though: which is colder: freezing der Heinie or freezing der Nüsse?

I've got an IPSC match on Jan. 6th.

I shoot year round, except when there is lightning. I have no desire to get fried.

Yeah, today I braved the elements and hit the range on this 60 + degree day...in January!

Ace, I've been wanting to make one of these shoots for awhile. Never worked out. I'm hoping this will be the year!

I'm hoping to make it myself, Mean.

I won't know my work schedule until that week so I can't commit to going yet.

Me too, Jake. My brother and I shot up most of my .45 ACP stash. I gotta get some more LSWC now for sure!

And then there was last Wed. I spent 4 hours outdoors shooting while the temp. was 22 degrees.

Took my feet almost that long to defrost afterwards.
