First time shooter class near Columbus

Post by BadCrosshairDay »

Any suggestions for a class to recommend to a first time shooter? He says he has never fired a handgun before, nor does he own any firearms. The class should be within an hour or so of Columbus.

Just looking to learn how to shoot? Or wanting to get their CHL?

He is looking to get started with shooting. Wants to take a class before starting to rent/pick his first handgun.

As for CHL, when I asked he told me his interest is home defense and range trips. In his words, "but I'm not going to walk around with it".

For $50 plus range fees, I'll spend a few hours with him and take him to Vance's or LEPD's range.

I think it's a good idea, but he is looking for more of a structured class.
