Here is a question from an acquaintance whose husband recently passed away. Can anyone recommend something for youth in the Northeast Ohio area? Any help is greatly appreciated.

Hi Jeff...can kids join the NRA, junior members? Do you know of any NRA sponsored youth programs in the area? My husband passed on his love and respect for guns to our son (7 Years old). I'm looking for a reputable program for my son to join. Just thought I'd check. I believe knowledge and respect for guns teaches young people many valuable life lessons plus it is a great sport. My daughter, 10 years old/6th grader, may also be interested. Thanks for any help. No rush, just checking.

Boy scout venture crew 223 that operates out of the Ashtabula Rod and Gun club. They do a lot of shooting events at the club, as well as a bunch of other fun activities.
