Again maybe this is delving into the "no brainer" zone (some tell me it's what I do best) but the use of reactive, easily resettable steel targets let a lot of shooters put a lot of rounds downrange quickly and efficiently. That was touched on tangentially when the 'Steel Challenge' matches were previously mentioned, of course. It's smart to plan in such a way that the steel is easily portable around the property when needed, too.

Another thing on targets in general: Relatively few places have ones that move laterally. The best systems use "tracks" of some sort along the bottom, which can be shielded from errant shots with a low wall, rather than wires/cables strung across the range and out in the open. And if you could build a series of concealed pop up targets....ooh how I love to spend others' money...well, you're getting into the realm of firearms theme park there.

hmmmm, "firearms theme park." I like that! So, let's have a Ferris wheel we can shoot at targets from. LOL

Firearms theme park,.....I like the sound of that, it does have a nice ring to it.

David, how about the wheel from Top Shot, to get strapped in and spun upside down and back round n round ya go,...lol, just kidding, but nice thought.
