Finally heard from Taurus on one of my pistols. Seems the entire 24/7 series is gone, and they are replacing my .45 with a PT111G2.
No word on the PT140, but I bet all I'm offered is another 111.

Pretty much screwed no matter what.
There has been some speculation that the shrinking product line has everything to do with the recall.....replace $350 pistols with $200 ones, or take 150 cash.
Taurus rep told us that they were not going to produce any .40 cal pistols this year (but they are still listed on the website).
I personally never had an issue with the pistols themselves, and thought they were not bad for the money. No comparison to the Glocks, & Walthers I own, but not
hateful.
Their customer service however, performs as well as the Browns.
This episode is going to bite them big time.

Well, I reckon I won't send back my PT145. I like it too much.

Well, they got that right. Told me 3-5 days.
Replacement pistol showed up today, a FDE PT111G2.
