Read some online news about how the Army conducted testing on mags from several "vendors" and determined that P-mags had the least failure and also the least wear on the chambers and feed ramps on the test guns among the mags they tested... there is no identification of the mag vendors, other than the Pmags were unmasked.
Supposedly, Navy is converting all their mags, while Army is not.

The Air Force just announced that they are replacing all their mags (through attrition) with P-Mags. The P-mags performed the best of all mags tested by the Army in 2015. However, that test did not include the Army's new "enhanced" magazine.

On other note, this http://soldiersystems.net/2017/09/18/ar ... magazines/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; gives some info as to why Big Army may not be using PMags yet.
