S&W Model 1 1/2

Post by westsidebestside »

I've inherited a Smith & Wesson model 1 1/2. From what little research I've done, there were three iterations of this gun, this one being the third, known as the "Single Action Revolver". My understating is the there were around 75,000 of this iteration made. Assuming I'm right and the number on the bottom the grip is the serial number, this is number 5394. Finish is pretty terrible, the "innards" look fairly decent.

Any additional info on this gun? Thanks in advance!

I've handled and even fired one a bit, with VERY light loads. Will do some remedial study and get back to you again.
Quit worrying, hide your gun well, shut up, and CARRY that handgun!
