I also just picked up a S&W Shield in 45 acp. Love it and it shoots great. This is my new carry gun. One of the guys I work with just got one last Sunday for his carry gun.
At first the grip seemed a little too small but the more I handled it, the better it felt. I bought two more mags and need a few more if I can find them at a decent price.

The Fin had the 45 listed in their flyer, on sale and with rebate, and I stopped by last week intending to pick on up. All sold out a couple of weeks ago.heathen wrote:I also just picked up a S&W Shield in 45 acp. Love it and it shoots great. This is my new carry gun. I "bought" this in April 2016. Finally got the Form 4 and the gun yesterday. I have been exploring the gun as well as changing it over to .308. Everything ready for first rock and roll test. I have ammo in cloth belts and links. Ready for a trip to my farm. Gun is box stock M1919 full auto.Brian D. wrote:Care to tell us more? Not saying I bought one, but right now there are great deals on police trade in Glock .40 caliber model 22's all over the place. Cops are jumping back on the 9mm bandwagon, yet again.
Some of the guns are factory rebuilt by Glock, others are more as is.
Again, not saying I bought one. Because, in the last week, I bought TWO of 'em. Only had time to try out the first one so far. It's fine.

Tavor X95 16" FDE ( very impressed with it's handling characteristics)! Also a preban Polytech Type 56 AK.

Wow. Nice score. That couldn't have been cheap.
I remember going to gun shows in the late 80's and there being stacks of them new in the box. For less then $300 ($279 ?)
A buddy of mine was smart and bought 5, and has never fired one. I see them on gunbroker for $2000 plus.

I actually got a decent deal on it. I've had four others over the years but like a dummy, sold them. This one is going to be a keeper.
