Looks like my Kahr CW9 is going to be unseated as my EDC.

Stumbled across one of these yesterday. Considering my reloading setup and supplies, this makes a lot more sense for me than going with a traditional caliber for a snubbie.
Now to snag a few stocks and more moonclips.

Try it out with some different loads you'll be using before going all in on the accessories. Occasionally I've read about issues with primers backing out or bullets jumping their crimp in the 9mm LCR. Both of those problems would obviously bind up the gun, if they occur.
The crimp-jumping may be because the gun is so light in weight. Not so sure regarding why primer setback has been reported.

Quit worrying, hide your gun well, shut up, and CARRY that handgun!

I get crimp jump to an extent with 135 grain bullets, i’m Interested to see how various weights and bullet style impact thi (ie cast coated vs jacketed with a serrated crimp (can’t think of what it’s called - starts with a c )). I have a feeling lighter bullets will be less prone to jumping, same with jacketed.
The support for this vs. a SP101 in 9mm is astounding, and helps that .22LR LCR regulates the same on the sights as the 9mm model.

Re: What have you bought (firearm related) in the last 48 hr
Smith and Wesson recently brought out the 2.0 version of their M&P pistols, as most of you know. Thing is, the 1.0's left in the factory/distributor/retailer pipeline are being discounted pretty good, if you're in the right place at the right time. Yesterday afternoon, that place was the Miamisburg Point Blank. Their last full-size M&P 9mm "1.0" went home with me for $290 + tax. Not a gimmick, not a demo or used gun, they just wanted it gone, apparently.
Quit worrying, hide your gun well, shut up, and CARRY that handgun!
