Anybody have any experience with Winchester SXT ammo ?

This is where you can talk about all equipment issues; firearms, ammunition, magazines, care & repair, holsters, gun cases, etc.

Winchester SXT -- The Choice of Toledo's Finest

I think Winchester SXT is the issue ammo for the Toledo Police Department.

I've shot some, both in .38 spl and .40 S&W.

Always went boom and no complaints with accuracy...

Cheers!

I haven't used the SXT....but I sure like the silver tip stuff.

It's reasonably priced and performs well. I think it's the best value around in premium ammo.

Yeah, but it doesn't have the evil, nasty name -- so it's okay to use... 8)

I've used it in my 1911 for quite some time as a defense ammo (even before HB12 days). So far, it's been very accurate with no problems. I only wish I could get the same thing for my Makarov.

I have found Winchester's SXT ammo accurate and reliable from my .38 Specials (S&W Models 15 and 36). According to Winchester, SXT stands for "Supreme Expansion Technology." WOW! Whether this plays a significant role in stopping a lethal attack I'll leave to your judgment.
