Anyone know a place that does cheap transfers in NE OH?

This is where you can talk about all equipment issues; firearms, ammunition, magazines, care & repair, holsters, gun cases, etc.

Anyone know a place that does cheap transfers in NE OH?

Post by coltc »

Looking for a place that does cheap transfers in NE Ohio. May be looking at picking up a few lowers and I'll need them transfered. I know you can do multiple transfers on one set of paper work but I'm not sure there is a limit to how many you can do. Anyone know of how many can be done on one set of paper work and a place to get them transfered in NE Ohio? I'm not looking to pay $20-$25 each, per lower.

There is no limit, we could do 100 of them on one 4473.

I am in NW Ohio though not NE Ohio so I will likely be of little help to you. Some dealers charge per 4473 for multiples, there is only 1 NICS check but there is a bound book entry for each lower.

Try calling Top gun Supply in Chesterland (440)729-7273. It is about 45 min from you in Geauga County. Last time I dealt with him, (6 months ago) he charged $15 for a transfer, he may have raised it to $20, but call and find out for yourself. He is a good guy, just starting out, and his prices for other stuff is great (Magpul P-Mags for $14.95 for example). Just to clear it up, I have no connection whatsoever to the store or its owners, and accept no responsibility for any problems, that being said, I have done business with him with satisfactory results, . Good luck.

Someone educate me, please. You can do 100 of them on 1 4473? I thought the max per form was 4.

Are you guys aware that this thread was started in 2008? :)

I used to belong to the pistolsmith.com forums. The record there for oldest thread resuscitation was about 14 years, and I know for sure the original poster had been dead for a decade when the new person responded to his questions.

Now in the case of THIS thread, finding a good deal never goes out of style, so what the heck, why not keep it around?
Quit worrying, hide your gun well, shut up, and CARRY that handgun!
