Small kydex holster company out of Oklahoma called F3 Holsters. I purchased a double mag carrier from them last year. Great quality, good price and extremely fast shipping.

StealthGearUSA and WrightLeatherWorks should be included in the list, as I personally vouch for their very high quality holsters!

If you're looking for a great holster maker who makes innovative kydex holsters and hybrid holsters, check out Henry Holsters in Bloomington, Indiana. http://www.henryholsters.com/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; https://www.facebook.com/HenryHolsters" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

I've gotten almost all of my holsters/mag carriers from him. Very high quality. Decisive Action in the northern Cincy area sells his stuff or you can order directly from him. This link is a review posted over at Indiana Gun Owners forum about the same holster I have for my M&P9. http://ingunowners.com/forums/accessori ... lster.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Great list, been looking for something like this for a while. Wish there was a list of holsters that were specific for women (top 25 holsters suited for women). If anyone knows of something like that please post.

Can't believe there aren't more Theis Holster fans out there. Tommy is good people and makes a great product. My P7 and my Theis are my daily companions.

This is when the holster was new. It's much more worn now, but comfortable as everything and with the tuckable clips I can easily wear it under a button-down.

I don't use the mag carrier from Theis any longer, but love the SHTFGear horizontal mag carrier. While it's not concealed, no one has mentioned recognizing it as a magazine.

For open carry I prefer Statureman kydex holsters. He was also the only outfit I could find with a holster for the XDm with INForce APL light. It is very solid and has excellent retention.

I apologize if I missed him somewhere, but Ryan Grizzle ( http://www.rgrizzleleather.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;) makes functional and beautiful work. The pieces I've had from him are second to none. A little pricey, but amazing work.

KT-Mech, out of Indiana: http://www.kt-mech.com/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Since I switched to full hardshell Kydex IWB, I've been using their holsters. My oldest of their is now approaching a year, and has been through several training classes, including one with ground-work.

They make good stuff, and are very communicative.

Huh, I didn't see Hidden Hybrid Holsters in here anywhere. If you like hybrid IWB holsters, these guys make a very nice product - and they are a local NE Ohio company that uses locally-sourced materials. Tey have a retail store outlet in Canton at Stark Arms LLC (3666 Cleveland Ave S, Canton, OHIO 44707) where you can check them out in person and compare them to the box of various competitors products they have accumulated (I think my old Crossbreed and Old Faithful holsters are both in there...).

Great guys, great company, and great holsters!

Just got my LCR holster from Dark Star Gear. First looks are deceitful- it looks like a simple piece of kydex that got sent out the door ASAP.

It isn’t. Easily the most comfortable holster for the LCR that I’ve put on to date. Hides very well with no hot spots.

Ordered the soft loop as that has been my preference for a while. I decided to put the clip on since that’s what it has been designed with originally to the best of my knowledge, and man, it’s great.

Even with no belt, it is secure as hell but still offers a fast draw, even with little boot grips. I highly recommend this.

There’s a reason why tested, refined, vetted holsters cost a solid $90 - but it also means I don’t have 3 crappy unused holsters floating around taking up space.

For pictures, look at their J frame option - same concept, different firearm.

^ His stuff has just gotten better and better.

I have one of his earlier holsters for my G32.

You wouldn't happen to have a Comp-Tac 2-o'clock to compare that with, would you?

That’s a big thing that I’ve really come to appreciate with Tom’s work - continuous improvement. I’ve talked with folks that posted pictures of his gear that they’ve been using for a while that happened to be outdated. He contacted them, and offered a free replacement to the newest offerings. I’ve never heard of that with any other holster makers (ones that make good gear at least).

No, I don’t have a 2-o’clock on hand. I looked up a picture of one, and I’m hesitant about it. The mounting clip they showed is at an angle that would put the front strap even with the belt, and I don’t see how you could get a grip on the thing in any time at all.

Side benefit of the clip in gym shorts/light weight pants without a belt - the gun pivots with your body when walking/sitting, mitigating printing, improving comfort, and for some reason making for a more natural drawstroke. Pretty neat.

Us hard core holster junkies should have a big show and tell get together sometime. Bring examples of the best and worst stuff we've purchased through the years. Would probably go on for a couple days, lodging would need to be booked.
